How it All Began

What started as a chance encounter between the design studio Doser + Zimprich and producer Georg Simzian (SIMAUSROM SRL) soon turned into a genuine partnership – and eventually led to the creation of Siqual Design.

Design Driven by Passion

Yvonne Zimprich and Wolf Doser are designers through and through. For years, they've been creating functional, user-centered products that have received numerous international design awards. Their work is always shaped by the needs of their clients – including renowned furniture brands. But they longed to launch a collection of their own: one that was free from external limitations. Simple. Functional. High quality. And still affordable.

Production Rooted in Purpose

Georg, a passionate producer with an eye for detail and uncompromising quality, was the missing piece. In a small Romanian town once dependent on mining, Georg built his metalworking company from the ground up. After the mines shut down, unemployment soared – but over the years, his factory grew into a major employer. Today, his company offers secure, fair, and sustainable jobs to over 130 people in the region, earning the trust of many top-tier furniture brands across Europe.

Combining design expertise with manufacturing excellence, we brought our shared vision to life: a collection of our own. Direct from our workshop to your home. No middlemen, no detours – just a clear focus on design, quality, and sustainability.

Every screw, every material choice, every packaging size is carefully considered in the development process – always with one goal: to deliver the best possible result at a fair price. It may sound simple, but the journey was anything but. There were setbacks, lessons learned, and plenty of persistence. But it paid off – our collection is now available online and already finding its way into beautiful homes.
